(Public Enterprise for Human Achievement), che garantisce ai cittadini disposti pagare una considerevole somma di denaro la possibilità di buttarsi da un dirupo davanti a un pubblico entusiasta. L’unico motivo che spinge a farlo è il desiderio di vivere l’esperienza del “momento assoluto”, una teoria sviluppata dal filosofo Anastasio Gialiskari.
In a very near improbable future, the most successful public enterprise is the P.E.H.A. (Public Enterprise for Human Achievement), which grants the right to citizens who are willing to pay a huge amount to jump from the edge of a cliff before the eyes of an enthusiastic audience. The only reason for this act is to live the experience of “the absolute moment”, a theory developed by the philosopher Dr. Anastasio Gialiskari.

I giovani della nostra società sono geograficamente lontani dalle operazioni militari che si svolgono nelle periferie del mondo. Ma tentano spesso di simulare queste situazioni psicologicamente estreme. Nel corto un gruppo di persone imitano esplicitamente un’esecuzione collettiva compiuta da un plotone posto in cima ad una montagna. “Come sosteneva Camus, la lotta per raggiungere la cima è sufficiente a riempire un cuore di speranza”.
The youth of the modern society are geographically remote from the military operations that take place on the world’s periphery. But they are trying to simulate such psychologically extreme situations. In the film a group of extremity-minded people are explicitly imitating a collective execution by a firing squad in a mountain. “As Camus believed, a struggle to reach the top is sufficient to fill one heart with hope”.

Wooww mostra i lati assurdi della violenza nei rapporti umani e il modo in cui colpisce i bambini. L’alienazione ha il sopravvento ma le emozioni e l’umorismo sono ancora presenti.
A man beats up his wife, another one robs the local store, the school kids terrorise their teacher… Events that follow each other in an almost hysterical way. Wooww shows the absurd sides of violence within human relationships and the way it affects children. Alienation rules, but emotions and humour are still present.
